They all have a good sense of humor and good knowledge of Prague's history, architecture &pubs!

Private tour guide: Bc. Marketa Hradecka

...is one of my school mates from the Prague Information Service, where she successfully graduated as Official Guide of Prague. We met through our mutual interest in providing tailor made tours. Marketa has lived in Prague for over 10 years, studied at Charles University (History, Literature and Sociology). While she studied in the international community, she was taking her foreign friends around Prague and pubs introducing traditional Czech beer and she always admired Prague and its magical atmosphere. Nowadays she is a proud mother of two kids, with high-quality knowledge of architecture and history. As an excellent private guide, she will happily provide all kind of travelers with a great tour.

Private tour guide: Mgr. Jiri Rezek also called George!

Jirka or George is an old school mate from the Prague Information Centre. He graduated from Charles University, Philosophical Faculty in 1975, his specialization is English and Geography. He has been running his own language school teacher since 1992! Before he ran on his own business, he used to teach English and Geography at a local secondary school. His first guiding experience started in 1993 when he used to accompany groups from the Czech Republic on their trip to the UK. His passion for history and architecture brought him to the Prague Information centre where I studied as well, and we found out we shared views on innovating local tourism! He travelled through the USA, the UK, NEW ZEALAND and IRELAND. George is an interesting, entertaining and knowledgeable tour guide, who enjoys to show especially the Baroque architecture, the Old Town and the hidden parts of the New Town. His hobbies are: tennis, billiard, travelling, playing the guitar, softball...and tour guiding of course!

Private tour guide: Martina Gregorcova

I started tour guiding in 2003, very occasionally pub crawls at the start, later on activities for stag and hen weekends organising paintballing, go-karting, party boats... One day, I knew I wanted to do more than accompany for stag and hen groups. After becoming self employed in 2006, I went on to study at the Prague Information Service, where I successfully completed the course in March 2007. In the meantime, I expanded my knowledge of local pubs, traditions in beer brewing and liquors. Customer recommendations have allowed me to become the most requested tour guide for private pub crawls. I like legends, mysticism and the secret language of architecture and sculptures. Nowadays I can give you any kind of tour, whether you are interested in history, architecture, legends or crazy stag parties. The aim of my guiding services is to explain to you the background of things, teach you the secret language of house signs, sculptures... My hobbies are: Abstract Art, inspired by Salvador Dali and Trabant cars.

• 1 person: 400 CZK (18 €, 14 £)
• 2 to 3 persons: 600 CZK (26 €, 20 £)
• 4 to 6 persons: 700 CZK (30 €, 24 £)
• 7 to 9 persons: 900 CZK (38 €, 30 £)

• Rates for private tours are set per hour and are dependent on group size, you share the price
